Construction of the new Stoler Center for Advanced Medicine has started.

The UMMC north entrance (at the corner of Greene and Redwood Streets) is closed. UMMC access will be through the South entrance (at Greene and Lombard Streets). View more construction updates.

Patient Drop-Off and Pick-Up

Patients can be dropped off and picked up in the designated parking lanes on Lombard Street at the South Entrance. There is no parking along both sides of Lombard Street.

Shuttle Service

The Medical Center offers a free shuttle service to transport patients from building to building. Please call the information desk at 410-328-5473 or 8-5473 from any in-house phone for assistance.

Valet Parking – See #2 on map

Parking Garages

Safe and convenient patient parking is available at several locations near the Medical Center. Many providers offer free or discounted parking. Be sure to take your parking ticket with you and check with the staff for more information.

Plaza Garage – See #1 on Map

Plaza Garage Rates – Has a Rate of up to $9 With a Discount Parking Voucher

These rates are only for patients and the people who drive them to appointments. The rates only apply when a patient-parking discount voucher is presented to the cashier when exiting the garage.

  • 1 hour or less – $6
  • 1-2 hours – $8
  • 2 hours up to 24 hours (maximum) – $9

How to Get a Discount Parking Voucher: Patients or their drivers can receive a discount parking voucher from Guest Services located at the front desk in the main lobby of the Medical Center.

  • Without a Discount Parking Voucher: The standard Plaza Garage rate of $17 will be charged

  • Hours: 24 hours/7 days a week
  • Discount parking vouchers are available. Take you parking ticket and stop at the office on Level B.1 to get discounted.
  • Long-term parking is available on the underground levels

Medical Center Garage Rates – With a Discount Parking Voucher

These rates are only for patients and the people who drive them to appointments. The rates only apply when a patient-parking discount voucher is presented when exiting the garage.

  • $7 with validation

How to Get a Discount Parking Voucher: Patients or their drivers can get their parking tickets discounted from a Guest Service representative located at the South Lobby Desk or the Main Entrance Lobby Desk or the clinic they visited.

Without a Discount Parking Voucher: The standard Medical Center Garage rate of $25 will be charged to anyone who does not provide a discounted voucher when exiting the garage.

Long-Term Parking Rates – Underground Levels

The Medical Center garage offers long-term parking for patients and visitors/families. Parking is accessible from both Paca and Greene Streets. The following rates apply:

  • Biweekly (every two weeks) – $37.50
  • Monthly – $75

To get a long-term parking pass, the visitor, patient or family member will need to fill out an application and return it to the Garage office. Applications are available in the Garage office, located at 111 S. Greene Street, Level B-1.

Baltimore Grand Garage – See #4 on the map

  • Public parking (Recommended for visitors)
  • Discounted parking is available for patients and transporters.

Visitors who do not have a doctor's appointment or who are not driving patients are urged to park at the Baltimore Grand Garage.

  • 5-7 hours – $15

Penn Garage Rates – With a Discount Parking Voucher

Discount parking vouchers are for patients or transporters only.

  • $9.00 with voucher

How to Get a Discount Parking Voucher: Patients/transporters are able to pick up their discount parking voucher from the clinic/unit they are visiting.

Parking During Stadium Events

Access to W. Redwood Street and the University Plaza Garage will remain reserved for patient and visitor parking during events at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. If you are traveling to the Medical Center after 5 pm or on the weekend, please keep in mind there may be stadium traffic.
