Dr. Baer is a nationally recognized leader in leukemia treatment and research. Her clinical focus is leukemia and myelodysplastic syndromes, and her research interests include understanding drug resistance in leukemia cells and the development of strategies for overcoming or bypassing mechanisms of resistance. Her overall goal is to improve the outcome of treatment for leukemia patients.

Dr. Cullen is a nationally recognized oncology doctor. His research interests include cellular factors that promote the growth of cancer and molecular mechanisms that make some cancers resistant to treatment with chemotherapy. His honors include a special achievement award from the National Cancer Institute. He was named one of Washington's best physicians by Washingtonian magazine. He has been the director of the Greenebaum Cancer Center since 2004.
Susan B. Kesmodel, M.D.

Dr. Kesmodel is a surgical oncologist who specializes in gastrointestinal tumors, pancreatic cancer and melanoma, and is board certified in surgery.

Dr. Regine is a nationally recognized radiation oncologist. His research interests include the study and treatment of pancreas/ gastrointestinal cancers, brain tumors and head and neck cancers. He is also working on an innovative drug delivery device for the treatment of brain tumors.

Dr. Suntha is a nationally recognized radiation oncologist. Dr. Suntha's research interests include the management of patients diagnosed with carcinomas of the lung, esophagus, and head and neck. He has designed and conducted numerous investigator initiated combined modality clinical trials aimed at improving the therapeutic outcome in these diseases.

Dr. Tkaczuk is a medical oncologist and member of the multidisciplinary Breast Cancer Program at the UM Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Cancer Center. She is in charge of the overall treatment planning for adjuvant and palliative systematic chemotherapy and hormonal therapy.
