Should I Take a Prenatal Vitamin?
The answer is YES!
It is going to be hard to get all of the vitamins and minerals your baby needs from the food you eat alone. You should take a prenatal vitamin every day.
You can go to your local grocery store and pick up a vitamin that is made special for women who are pregnant. These vitamins usually have iron, folic acid, vitamin B6 and B12, vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin E, calcium, zinc, and fatty acids.
So if you are not taking a prenatal vitamin right now, start today!
Sometimes you may want to take an herbal product while you are pregnant. They may or may not be safe for you during your pregnancy. Before taking any other products, be sure to ask your health care provider if it is safe for your baby.
