Urogynecology

Harry Johnson, M.D.Harry Johnson, M.D.

Dr. Johnson is director of the Division of Urogynecology and Reconstructive Surgery and an associate professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Johnson received his medical degree from Wake Forest University Medical Center. He completed a general surgery internship at Wake Forest University Medical Center and his obstetric gynecology residency at the University of Maryland.

He also completed a fellowship in pelvic surgery and urogynecology at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center. Prior to coming to the University of Maryland Women's Health, he served as director of urogynecology at the National Naval Medical Center in Bethesda, Md.


Tatiana V. Sanses, M.D.Tatiana V. Sanses, M.D.

Dr. Sanses joined the division of Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery as a director of Outreach and System Development for Urogynecology in the department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences, University of Maryland Medical Systems. Dr. Sanses is board certified both in obstetrics and gynecology, as well as female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. She also serves as an assistant professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at University of Maryland School of Medicine.

She received her medical degree from Belarussian State Medical University, Minsk Belarus. After completion of her training in Belarus, Dr. Sanses completed her internship in Internal Medicine at Howard University Hospital, an internship in Obstetrics and Gynecology at North Shore University Hospital, and a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Georgetown University Hospital. She completed a fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at Greater Baltimore Medical Center. Prior to joining the division at University of Maryland, Dr. Sanses served as an assistant professor at Case Western Reserve University, department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She also was a medical director of Urology Institute at University Hospitals Richmond Medical Center, A Campus of UH Regional Hospitals.


Madeline A. Dick-Biascoechea, MD
Madeline A. Dick-Biascoechea, M.D.

Dr. Dick-Biascoechea is a clinical assistant professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences in the Division of Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.  She received her medical degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the Adult University Hospital/University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine in 2004.  She then practiced as a clinical assistant professor at Yale-New Haven Hospital/Yale School of Medicine from 2005 to 2010.  She completed her fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery at Yale-New Haven Hospital/Yale School of Medicine from 2010 to 2013. 

Dr. Dick-Biascoechea has been board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology since 2006. She is an active member of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG), American Urogynecologic Society (AUGS) and the Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics (APGO).
