Dr. Whitney Burrows received his medical degree from New York University Medical School. He completed his surgical residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. Upon completion of his fellowship at Barnes Hospital-Washington University in St. Louis, Dr. Burrows spent a year at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, advancing his training in general thoracic surgery.

He holds the title of assistant professor of surgery at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. In addition, he is a member of the University of Maryland Division of Thoracic Surgery and the Thoracic Oncology Program at the University of Maryland Greenebaum Cancer Center.

His areas of special interest include esophageal cancer, gastrointestinal reflux disease lung cancer, hyperhidrosis and emphysema.

Dr. James Donahue received his medical degree from Harvard Medical School. He completed his general surgery residency at Massachusetts General Hospital, and his cardiothoracic surgery residency at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine.

He holds the title of assistant professor of surgery at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He is also a member of the University of Maryland Division of Thoracic Surgery and the Thoracic Oncology Program at the University of Maryland Greenebaum Cancer Center.

His areas of special interest include thoracic surgery and thoracic oncology.

Dr. Linda Martin is a general thoracic surgeon with an interest in thoracic malignancies. She received her medical degree from the University of California, San Diego School of Medicine. She completed her general surgery residencies at the University of Minnesota and the University of California, and her thoracic surgery residency at the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center and Texas Heart Institute.

She holds the title of assistant professor of surgery at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She is also a member of the University of Maryland Division of Thoracic Surgery and the Thoracic Oncology Program at the University of Maryland Greenebaum Cancer Center.

Her areas of special interest include thoracic malignancies, multimodality approaches to lung and esophageal cancer, and smoking cessation interventions in lung cancer patients.
