Libraries

The Health Sciences and Human Services Library is a new facility with a comprehensive collection of books and periodicals. The library provides access to a wide array of electronic databases, E-journals, E-books, and digital resources. The library has been designated a regional medical library (southeastern/Atlantic region) by the National Library of Medicine and ranks among the top 15 health science libraries in the country in size.

The Department of Neurology has a newly renovated library in close proximity to the neurology inpatient service in the University of Maryland Medical Center. In addition to a book and journal collection, computer facilities are readily available. Additional educational resources, including computers, are available in the ambulatory facility and at the Baltimore VA Medical Center and University of Maryland Rehabilitation & Orthopaedics Institute, formerly Kernan Hospital.

Each resident has access to the extensive electronic resources of the University. This includes search engines and on-line journals, books, etc.
