Acute Care Unit

The NeuroCare Acute Care Unit provides progressive care that can begin at intermediate care through the journey to home. In addition to the Neuroscience patients, we specialize in the care and treatment of patients who have undergone otolaryngology and oral facial maxillary procedures. The patients we care for typically include:

  • Neurological & Spine Disease/Surgery

  • Epilepsy

  • Guillian-Barre

  • Stroke

  • Vascular Disease

  • Plastic Surgery Grafts, Flaps & Wounds

  • Head & Neck Cancer

  • Facial Reconstructive Procedures

Our interdisciplinary team consists of doctors, nursing staff, respiratory therapists, social workers and case managers. Each morning begins with interdisciplinary rounds to assess each patient's clinical progress and discuss their plan of care. We call this Relationship Based Care (RBC), all focused on coordinating care that includes both patient and family.

We are proud of our Magnet nurses and the nursing excellence they deliver.
