The University of Maryland Medical Center Departments of Neurology and Neurosurgery are nationally recognized pioneers in their respective fields. Our Department of Neurosurgery places special emphasis on cerebrovascular surgery, neuro-oncology, complex spine surgery, skull based and acoustic neuromas, epilepsy surgery, Gamma Knife radiosurgery and surgery for movement disorders.
