Research and Clinical Trials

Dr. Barth in lab

As part of an academic medical center, the Liver Center is responsible not just for treating patients but also for finding ways to improve the way doctors diagnose and treat all forms of liver disease. Physicians within the Liver Center contribute to research and participate in clinical trials to ensure that their patients receive access to the absolute latest developments that could help treat their disease.
