Am I A Good Candidate?

If you have nearsightedness, farsightedness or astigmatism and want to reduce your dependency on corrective lenses, you may be a good candidate for laser vision correction.

The list below can help you determine if you're a good candidate for laser vision surgery:

  • 18 years or older
  • Stable prescription for more than 1 year
  • Not pregnant or nursing
  • No restrictions mandated by employer
  • Have realistic goals and expectations
  • Are informed about the procedure and the potential benefits and risks

Some eye conditions and other medical conditions may preclude you from having LASIK. A good way to help you determine if laser vision correction is right for you is to consult with an experienced laser vision surgeon. University Laser Vision Center offers free consultations, where you can discuss your individual situation with one of our surgeons to help you make an informed decision.

Please call University Laser Vision Center at 410-328-5933 for more information or to schedule your free consultation.
