The Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Program at the University of
Maryland Medical Center champions the idea that people with IBD shouldn't
just be able to lead more normal lives with treatment, but that the right
therapies should enable patients to function completely normally.
The IBD Program places a strong emphasis on educating patients about
their illness, engaging patients in management of their disease, detecting
and avoiding medication side effects, and improving monitoring of

Foundation of America (CCFA). The CCFA is a very helpful resource
