The Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) Program at the University of Maryland Medical Center champions the idea that people with IBD shouldn't just be able to lead more normal lives with treatment, but that the right therapies should enable patients to function completely normally.
The IBD Program places a strong emphasis on educating patients about their illness, engaging patients in management of their disease, detecting and avoiding medication side effects, and improving monitoring of symptoms.
The quality of your care is our number one goal. We want to partner with you to make sure you have the best quality of life possible. In addition, our staff works closely with referring doctors to keep them abreast of your treatment and progress.
