Cardiothoracic Surgical Residency

Application Information

The University of Maryland, Baltimore is accepting applications for its Integrated Cardiothoracic Surgical Residency Training Program. This is a six-year program with opportunity to spend 1-2 additional years in basic or translational research in cardiovascular medicine or to pursue graduate degree in related or ancillary field (PPH, MBA, MS, or PhD). Applications are accepted through ERAS and open for submission on September 15 and the deadline for applications is November 30.

To Arrange a Sub-Internship

We encourage interested 4th year medical students to take advantage of the opportunity to rotate as a sub intern on either Cardiac or Thoracic Surgical Services. This will be an evaluable opportunity to gain first hand experience into the strengths of our training program.
