Finding new treatments for children's heart diseases

The University of Maryland Children's Heart Program is committed to advancing basic and clinical science research to help provide better treatments for children with heart conditions. Whether through lifestyle coaching, stem cell research or surgical innovation, physician scientists are constantly working to seek new and better options for patients and their families.

Physicians bring innovative solutions to families to help diagnose, treat or even cure the child's condition at all stages of infancy, childhood and even into adulthood. The Children's Heart Program is your team in finding a treatment that is right for your special child.
