A little about myself. . .
I am originally from the sunny west coast until medical school brought me to the east coast. They say everything happens for a reason and I couldn't agree more. After coming to the east coast I made some wonderful friends in medical school, learned some life lessons, and met my future husband. Now I am very excited to start my career in Pediatrics. I've always known I loved kids but it wasn't till my 3rd year rotation in medical school where I really realized this is my calling. Though residency will be challenging it's also exciting knowing that I will be being touched by the lives of both children and their families. Some of personal childhood experiences taught me what a difference a Pediatrician can make in the life of a whole family and I will never forget that.
In my free time I love to play tennis, garden, sing, dance, and spend time with family, husband, and friends. Singing is my favorite past time however, and I always joke around that if I had the voice I would've become a singer. I hope to maintain a balanced life through residency and try to maintain these past time activities. There is nothing like a good relaxing break that will energize you for the next day! Most importantly during my my next three years of residency, through both the rough and good days, I hope to stay true to my goals and treat each day with the same amount of enthusiasm and drive to become an adept Pediatrician so I can provide my future patients with the best care.
