Medical School: University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry
A little about myself. . .
I was born and raised in the small town of Oxford Ohio before adventuring all the way across the state to attend the small but great Oberlin College. At Oberlin I was on the varsity swim team and majored in Biology and minored in South Asian History.
I attended medical school at the University of Rochester in upstate New York. I went into medical school with a strong interest for pediatrics, and all my experiences confirmed how much I love working with kids. I also found my passion for teaching and public health. I am planning on pursuing a career in general pediatrics with an emphasis on advocacy and public policy.
Outside medicine I am addicted to travel, love trying new foods, and staying active whatever way I can (hiking, biking, tennis, swimming, running, kayaking, whatever!) I'm very lucky to have spent time in India, Poland, and Peru during medical school and plan on doing an international elective during residency too.
I'm super excited to be doing my residency in Baltimore. I've never lived on the east coast before and so far am enjoying the great parks, living on the water, eating crab-cakes, and of course the awesome people in the peds department!
