Medical School: Morehouse School of Medicine
A little about myself. . .
I was born in Dallas, TX but moved when I was about two years old. I was raised in Windsor, CT which is a suburb of Hartford, the capitol of Connecticut. I went to Rutgers University in Newark, New Jersey for college where I majored in biology. After college, I headed further south to Atlanta, GA for medical school at the wonderful Morehouse School of Medicine, where my compassion for serving the underserved bloomed.
I’m thrilled to be here at the University of Maryland for residency. I noticed how energetic, passionate, and supportive the residents, attendings, and supporting staff were on my interview day! I also got the impression that being here would allow me to continue to be challenged in all aspects of pediatrics—medical, emotional, and social—and therefore shaped into a great pediatrician. I am also closer to friends and family, which is an added bonus!
I’ve been a dancer since I was 4 so when I am not working I love going out dancing. I also enjoy watching the performing arts, traveling, exercising, eating at different restaurants, and simply catching up with friends and family.
