Neonatal-Perinatal Fellowship Program
We are excited that you have decided to pursue a career in Neonatology! At the University of Maryland, we are committed to providing comprehensive fellowship training that will prepare fellows for a successful career in Neonatology. Our program is designed to balance clinical experience and scholarly work to ensure the development of specialty-specific knowledge, technical skills, and critical thinking skills. Our large and varied patient population will provide experience with a wide variety neonatal disease processes. In 2014, we are expanding to a new state of the art, 52-bed, family-centered NICU!
A broad range of research opportunities are available at University of Maryland. For interested individuals, clinical fellowship can be combined with a Masters in Clinical Sciences, Masters in Public Health, or PhD for Clinicians Program. Our fellowship meets all requirements of the Residency Review Committee for Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine and is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.
