A little about myself. . .
I grew up just north of Baltimore, in a suburb called Timonium. After high school, I decided to spread my wings getting my Bachelor's degree at the University of Michigan (Go Blue!). I then returned home to Baltimore and got my Master's degree at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. I followed that with two years of neuroscience research at the Kennedy Krieger Institute. I love Baltimore so much that I decided to stat here for medical school at the University of Maryland.
I chose to continue my stint at Maryland for a variety of reasons. First and foremost are the amazing people. I had fantastic experiences with the faculty and the residents. It is also a place with seemingly boundless opportunities in various clinical experiences, advocacy, research, and international health (amongst others). I am very excited to be able to continue my training here, sampling the best of internal medicine and pediatrics.
I love Baltimore and could see myself staying here for a long time to come. The city has a lot to offer, including an awesome football team (Go Ravens!), a less frequently awesome baseball team (Go O's!), and a variety of great neighborhoods, restaurants and festivals to sample. All of this and more make me glad to call the University of Maryland home.
