Mike hails from West Chester, PA and made a short trip north to attend Ursinus (Er-sign-us) College, a small liberal arts school with an oft mispronounced name. He was a double major in Biology and Neuroscience. For medical school, he attended Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia and ate his fair share of cheesesteaks. He married his wife Kim, a Baltimore County teacher, at the end of intern year and they adopted a Shih Tzu-Yorkie (“Shorkie”) named Biscuit soon after. Mike hopes to be Med-Peds Hospitalist and help start a Transitional Care primary care clinic at Maryland. Though Mike is a Philly fan at heart, he enjoys attending O’s games, jogging/ biking around the harbor, playing kickball and dodgeball and finding new places to wine and dine.
