The University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Cancer Center has comprehensive Treatment Services for all types of cancer, each staffed by experts who work together in multidisciplinary teams to care for the unique needs of each cancer patient.

  • Blood and Marrow Transplant Service

    Bone marrow and peripheral blood stem cell transplants are procedures used to restore cells of the body that have been destroyed by high doses of chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy.
  • Bone Cancer and Soft Tissue Sarcoma Service

    The Bone Cancer and Soft Tissue Sarcoma Service consists of a group of specialists experienced in the treatment of: Soft tissue sarcomas, metastatic tumors of the spine and malignant tumors of the bone.

  • Brain Tumor Service

    Specialists in the comprehensive Brain Tumor Service at the University of Maryland Greenebaum Cancer Centers treat patients with tumors of the brain and spinal cord, both benign and malignant.

  • Breast Cancer

    From screening to diagnosis to treatment, the experts in the Breast Evaluation and Treatment Service at the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Cancer Center are dedicated to providing exemplary care for patients with breast cancer and other breast conditions.

  • Gastrointestinal Cancer

    We offer the most advanced therapies available in radiation oncology; interventional and diagnostic radiology; GI and liver surgery, including robot-assisted minimally invasive surgical options; dedicated services for liver-directed therapy and pancreatic cancer therapy; as well as nutrition and ostomy services.

  • Genitourinary Cancer

    At the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Cancer Center, our experienced team of genitourinary cancer specialists works together using the latest therapies available (surgery, radiation, hormonal therapy and chemotherapy) to aggressively treat patients with: prostate cancer, kidney cancer, bladder cancer and testicular cancer.

  • Gynecologic Cancer

    The multidisciplinary Gynecologic Oncology team provides comprehensive care for women with known or suspected gynecologic malignancies. 

  • Head and Neck Cancer

    The Head and Neck Oncology team specializes in treating and caring for patients with larynx, oral, jaw and salivary gland cancers. The multidisciplinary team includes surgeons, medical and radiation oncologists, head and neck radiologists, general and oral pathologists, nurses, social workers, nutritionists and speech-language pathologists.

  • Hematologic Malignancies

    Hematologic Malignancies treatment at the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Cancer Center is built on a long-standing tradition of excellence.
  • Lung Cancer

    Lung Cancer treatment services at the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Cancer Center are provided by an experienced group of specialists with expertise in lung cancer, esophageal cancer, mesothelioma and cancers to the chest.

  • Skin Cancer (Cutaneous Oncology)

    The Skin Cancer Service at the University of Maryland Greenebaum Cancer Center focuses on the treatment of malignancies that involve the skin.

  • Medical Oncology

    Physicians within the division of Medical Oncology/Hematology at the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Cancer Center provide primary cancer treatment, continuous follow-up, consultations and second opinions for cancer management in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. 

  • Surgical Oncology

    Surgical oncologists at the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Cancer Center (UMGCC) work with medical oncologists and radiation oncologists in comprehensive, multidisciplinary teams to provide evaluation and therapy for a range of cancers. 
  • Radiation Oncology

    The Department of Radiation Oncology is a cornerstone of the University of Maryland Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Cancer Center (UMGCC), providing the most advanced radiation therapies for the treatment of cancer.
  • Pediatric Oncology

    The Pediatric Hematology/Oncology division at the University of Maryland’s Children's Hospital provides the most advanced treatments available for children with all types of cancer and blood diseases, from infancy to young adulthood.
  • Baltimore City Cancer Program

    The Baltimore City Cancer Program of the University of Maryland Medical Center offers free breast, cervical and oral cancer screenings to the uninsured in Baltimore City.
