Initial Antibiotic Received within 6 Hours of Arrival

Antibiotics are generally given as soon as possible to pneumonia patients to help speed their recovery.

The chart below shows the percentage of UMMC pneumonia patients who were given an initial dose of antibiotics within six hours after arriving at the Medical Center for treatment as compared to the national average.
