An estimated 85 million Americans are living with chronic pain, which adds up to billions of dollars in health care expenses and lost productivity. This program features an interview with a pain management specialist who talks about strategies and treatments for chronic pain, including back pain.

Dr. Thelma Wright, director of the University of Maryland Pain Management Center, which is located at University of Maryland Rehabilitation & Orthopaedic Institute in Baltimore. Dr. Wright is also an assistant professor of anesthesiology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine.
