In this video, Syed Ashfaq Hasan, M.D., associate professor of orthopaedics and chief of the Shoulder and Elbow Program at the University of Maryland School of Medicine, reviews the technique and indications for elbow arthroscopy. Dr. Hasan explains that elbow arthroscopy represents a significant advancement in the minimally invasive treatment of complex elbow problems. This arthroscopic approach offers significant advantages over the traditional technique, which required large open incisions.
