UMB and UMMC Launch Unified Visual Identity
This video features the new unified visual identity representing the University of Maryland, Baltimore and the University of Maryland Medical Center. UMB President Jay Perman, M.D., and UMMC President and CEO Jeffrey Rivest explain the reasons that went into the decision to have a common look, along with the benefits to patients and the community at large.
The new logo reflects the collaboration between UMB and UMMC, and the desire to maximize that partnership in the future through a simple, consistent look. The logo features the Maryland state colors of red, yellow and black and the pillars of Davidge Hall, a national Historic Landmark constructed in 1812 that has been used continuously for medical education longer than any other building in the country.
