Wallace Johnson Center for Aortic Disease
Dr. Wallace Johnson, medical director of the Center for Aortic Disease, discusses the diverse team of experts who help diagnose and treat each patient with an aortic condition. Cardiologists, geneticists, internal medicine doctors, and cardiac and vascular surgeons discuss each patient's medical history, evaluate test results and collaborate on a treatment plan. Patients can visit the clinic and meet with all of these experts in one visit instead of multiple appointments. The goal is to work together to prevent an aortic emergency and reduce the risk of life-threatening aortic ruptures.
