Each year, about four million people in the United States are admitted to intensive care units with complex medical problems that require the highest level of care. This program covers medical advances in critical care treatment that are enabling people to survive serious health challenges. Topics include the latest thinking about ventilator support as well treatment for Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome.
