El síndrome de nevo de célula basal es un trastorno heredado caracterizado por ojos grandes, nariz en silla de montar, protuberancia frontal (frente prominente), prognatismo (mentón prominente) y anormalidades del esqueleto. Las manifestaciones en la piel son hoyuelos en las palmas de las manos y plantas de los pies, y numerosos carcinomas de célula basal (cánceres de piel). Este es un acercamiento de los hoyuelos en la planta del pie de una persona con síndrome de nevo de célula basal.
