Reacciones intradérmicas a la prueba de alergia

La prueba de alergia intradérmica es otro método de prueba cutánea que ayuda a determinar si un individuo es alérgico a un alergeno específico. La prueba consiste en inyectar una pequeña cantidad del alergeno sospechoso bajo la superficie de la piel. Después de unos 20 minutos, se examina el área en busca de una reacción en el sitio. La reacción típica se asemeja a una pequeña urticaria con inflamación y enrojecimiento. La prueba intradérmica es más sensible que la prueba de escarificación y por lo general proporciona resultados más consistentes.
