La prueba cutánea de antígeno de Aspergillus determina si la persona estuvo expuesta al hongo del género Aspergillus. Se inyecta el antígeno de Aspergillus bajo la piel con una aguja. Después de 48 a 72 horas, el sitio de la inyección se evalúa por un médico. La reacción positiva, la cual se manifiesta por inflamación del sitio de la prueba, indica que la persona estuvo expuesta al hongo Aspergillus y que está a riesgo de manifestar aspergilosis.
