El primer trimestre del embarazo son los primeros tres meses después de la concepción. Los signos de los inicios del embarazo son: falta de períodos menstruales, fatiga, agrandamiento de los senos, distensión abdominal y náusea. Durante este período de tiempo evolucionan todos los órganos, por lo que en este momento el feto es más susceptible a daños por toxinas, drogas e infecciones.
