Los xantomas son pápulas (protuberancias) firmes, elevadas y de apariencia cerúlea que pueden ser de color rosa, color piel o incluso amarillo, y que pueden aparecer en el tronco, los brazos y las piernas. La presencia de este tipo de lesiones cutáneas puede estar asociada con niveles anormales de lípidos (grasas) en la sangre.
