Órganos torácicos

El tórax también recibe el nombre de pecho y contiene los órganos principales de la respiración y de la circulación. El corazón bombea sangre oxigenaba a todas las partes del cuerpo a través de su arteria principal, la aorta. Los pulmones abastecen de oxígeno a las células del cuerpo y eliminan el dióxido de carbono. Estos órganos en conjunto mantienen algunas de las funciones vitales más críticas del cuerpo.
