Localización del dolor por latigazo

La lesión por latigazo es una lesión a los tejidos blandos del cuello. Dicha lesión distensiona los músculos y ligamentos del cuello más allá de su rango normal de movimiento y con frecuencia se presenta dolor y rigidez en el cuello durante los primeros días después de la lesión. El dolor también se puede sentir en los grupos musculares circundantes de la cabeza, el pecho, los hombros y los brazos.
