La inflamación del sistema linfático es una complicación que a menudo ocurre a raíz de una infección bacteriana. Esta fotografía muestra inflamación del sistema linfático alrededor de la articulación del dedo meñique. El organismo responsable de esta linfangitis corresponde a la familia de los estafilococos y por eso se conoce a esta condición como linfangitis estafilocócica.
