El granuloma anular generalmente es un trastorno autolimitante caracterizado por parches (placas) de color carne a rojo dispuestos en forma anular. Aunque esta enfermedad puede presentarse a cualquier edad, se le encuentra principalmente en niños y adultos jóvenes y su gravedad puede variar desde moderada a muy severa, y desde localizada a generalizada.
