Después de un ataque cardíaco, en el gráfico del ECG se pueden observar varias fases:

  • Fase hiperaguda que comienza inmediatamente después de un ataque cardíaco.
  • Fase de franca evolución que comienza de algunas horas a días después del ataque cardíaco.
  • Fase de resolución que aparece unas semanas después del ataque cardíaco.
  • Fase crónica estabilizada que es la última fase y que típicamente presenta cambios patológicos permanentes al compararla con el gráfico de un ECG normal.
