Frecuencia cardíaca y ejercicio

Para determinar la frecuencia cardíaca máxima, se debe restar la edad a 220. La cifra resultante representa el número de veces que el corazón debería latir por minuto a una frecuencia máxima. Para determinar el rango de la frecuencia cardíaca de esfuerzo se debe multiplicar la cifra anterior por 0,6 a 0,85. Las personas sanas pueden acumularse gradualmente para poder mantener este ritmo cardíaco durante 30 a 45 minutos al menos 3 veces a la semana para construir la aptitud aeróbica.
