El brazo derecho de esta persona presenta una reacción positiva a la PPD (prueba de la piel para la proteína de la tuberculosis). El brazo izquierdo presenta una reacción positiva a la proteína de Candida. Se prueba el antígeno de Candida para determinar si el sistema inmunitario de la persona está funcionando bien; un sistema inmunitario normal muestra una reacción positiva.
