Examen de glucosa

Las personas con diabetes manejan constantemente sus niveles de azúcar (glucosa) en la sangre. Después de tomar la muestra de sangre y examinarla, se determina si los niveles de glucosa son bajos o altos. En caso de estar demasiado bajos, la persona ingiere carbohidratos y en caso de que la glucosa en la sangre esté demasiado alta, se administra la cantidad apropiada de insulina, como por ejemplo, a través de una bomba de insulina.
