Estría en la fosa poplítea. Las estrías son producto del estiramiento de la piel, o también pueden deberse a otras causas, como sucede en el síndrome de Cushing. La mayoría de las mujeres embarazadas adquieren estrías en algún momento de su embarazo. Esta ilustración muestra estrías en la fosa poplítea (área de la corva o parte posterior de la articulación de la rodilla). Cuando aparecen por primera vez, las estrías son de color violáceo (entre rojo y morado), pero con el tiempo toman una apariencia blanco mate.
