Ejercicio aeróbico

Los ejercicios aeróbicos hacen que el corazón bombee sangre de forma más rápida y con mayor fuerza de lo normal. Debido a que la sangre se bombea más rápido, necesita oxigenarse con mayor rapidez, lo que acelera la respiración. El ejercicio aeróbico fortalece el corazón y promueve niveles de colesterol saludables. Entre los aeróbicos de bajo impacto están el caminar y nadar. Correr, jugar tenis y bailar son aeróbicos de alto impacto.
