Cultivo de tejido esofágico

La biopsia del tejido esofágico se obtiene al colocar un tubo en el esófago a través de la boca donde se obtiene una porción de tejido esofágico mediante instrumentos pequeños y se envía al laboratorio para su evaluación. El examen se realiza cuando existe sospecha de infección u otras enfermedades del esófago o cuando una infección en proceso no responde al tratamiento.
