Corsé para escoliosis

Un tipo de tratamiento para la escoliosis es el uso de un corsé, el cual trabaja ejerciendo presión sobre la espalda y las costillas para impulsar la columna hacia una posición más derecha. Este corsé generalmente va ceñido alrededor del torso y puede venir en muchos estilos. En un niño que aún está creciendo, se recomienda el uso del corsé para ayudar a disminuir la progresión de la curvatura y generalmente se lleva puesto todo el tiempo hasta que el crecimiento de los huesos se haya detenido.
