El cistocele es la protrusión o hernia de la vejiga que baja hacia la apertura vaginal. La debilidad de la pared muscular en esta condición puede producir que la orina se escape de la vejiga cuando hay aumento de la presión abdominal interna como cuando se tose o se estornuda.
