Arteriografía mesentérica

La arteriografía mesentérica es un examen de los vasos abdominales que se realiza inyectando un medio de contraste para poder visualizar las estructuras. El examen se realiza cuando después de haber realizado una endoscopia no se llegue a una conclusión y no se logre localizar la fuente del sangrado en el sistema intestinal o cuando otros estudios demuestren ser inadecuados para evaluar crecimientos anormales. También puede ser utilizado para evaluar daños a los vasos después de un traumatismo abdominal.
