La debilidad, la obnubilación y otras pérdidas de la función nerviosa pueden indicar que un aneurisma está ejerciendo presión en un tejido cerebral adyacente. Síntomas como el dolor de cabeza severo, náuseas, vómito, cambios en la visión u otros cambios neurológicos pueden indicar que el aneurisma se ha roto y hay sangrado dentro del cerebro. La ruptura del aneurisma intracraneal causa sangrado dentro del cráneo y se considera muy peligrosa.
