Incisión de cirugía de revascularización cardíaca

La cirugía de revascularización cardíaca mínimamente invasiva se hace sin detener el corazón y sin conectar al paciente a un sistema de circulación extracorpórea. Se hace una incisión de 3 a 5 pulgadas en la parte izquierda del tórax entre las costillas. Esta incisión es mucho menos traumática que la incisión de la cirugía de revascularización cardíaca tradicional que separa el esternón. La cirugía de revascularización cardíaca mínimamente invasiva le permite al paciente tener menos dolor y una recuperación más rápida.
