Las manchas de la vejez, también llamadas manchas de la edad, son muy comunes y generalmente no deben ser motivo de preocupación.

Coméntele siempre al médico si tiene alguna mancha inusual o nueva. Los cánceres de piel pueden tener muchas apariencias diferentes. Las manchas o úlceras relacionadas con cánceres de piel pueden ser pequeñas, brillantes, cerosas, escamosas y ásperas, firmes y rojas, con costra o sangrantes, o tener otras características.
