Definición

Se presenta cuando una parte del cuerpo es sometida a un alto grado de fuerza o presión, usualmente después de ser aplastada entre dos objetos pesados.

  • Detenga el sangrado aplicando presión directa.
  • Cubra el área con una tela o vendaje húmedos, luego eleve el área por encima del nivel del corazón, de ser posible.
  • Llame al número local de emergencias (como 911 en los Estados Unidos) o al hospital local en busca de recomendaciones adicionales.
