Rounding Out Care
University of Maryland pituitary clinic
Pituitary disorders are the focus of a new multidisciplinary clinic at the University of Maryland, led by endocrinologist Kashif Munir, M.D., neurosurgeon Charles Sansur, M.D. and radiation oncologist Young Kwok, M.D. The medical team, which also includes specialists from neuroradiology and pathology, evaluates and treats tumors as well as pituitary hormonal dysfunction. Patients see each physician involved in their care at one appointment at the downtown Medical Center. Working together, the team has an active dialogue to determine the best therapeutic options. For more information or to refer a patient to this Pituitary Clinic, please call 410-328-6219.
